Prosecutors pursue two-track strategy against James Holmes in Colorado massacre
Mon Jul 30, 2012
As a taxpayer, I would like a refund. I don't want my tax dollars going to his defense because his actions are indefensible. And my heart breaks for Ashley Moser and her family as well as the rest of the victims.
The Goddesses are back, seeking your post-baby bellies
Tue Jul 17, 2012
as someone currently preggers with the first, I'm hoping I can bounce back if not all the way, at least get pretty dang close to what I had before, if not better, through diet, exercise and breast feeding! :) Kudos to them for being willing to bare the bellies! I'm hopeful that I'll be that proud of …
Why many breast-feeding moms quit earlier than planned
Mon Jun 4, 2012
I'm an expectant first time mom and I hope to breast feed for six months. The biggest issue on my mind right now is trying to pump in the workplace. In an office environment predominately women, you'd think they'd be better equipped/receptive to it. :/
Want a pet with spunk and character? Bunnies have it all!
Mon Apr 2, 2012
I raised New Zealand rabbits when I was in high school - they were for show and eating. Very tasty and healthy. I have Dutch bunnies now but they're pets, not food. One nice thing about rabbits is the manure can be sown directly into your garden or soil. No need to compost it!

As a 29-year-old woman who's gone through two losses in two years, miscarriage is something I knew practically nothing about until the fi …

My hubby and I have been together 11 years, married almost 5, and it's truly wonderful to be married to my best friend. I love reading the stories of those who have been married for much longer. It is my hope that we will one day be one of those couples that our kids see as role models of a strong, …

Fertility math? Most women flunk, survey finds
Tue Nov 15, 2011
As someone who is approaching the 30th birthday next summer, the thought of having a child late in my 30s scares the beejeezus out of me because of the risk of birth defects. Having said that, my husband and I have been trying for kids for almost five years. Sadly, we lost two pregnancies before the …
